How to Supercede an Due east Serial Rainbow HEPA Filter

This is a how-to-video on replacing the HEPA filter on any E Series Rainbow vacuum cleaner. In this video we show two different ways, both ways only have a few minutes.

Important Safety Tips

Phillips head screwdriver (for older models)

Newer Model Instructions

The vacuum we're using in this demonstration is a Rainbow E serial E2 Black. Since it is one of the newer models, we just demand to flat head screwdriver to help pop the tabs open. If you look at the bottom, afterward you remove the cycle dolly, you'll discover ii tabs.

Insert your flat head screwdriver into the groove and pry upwards. Repeat with the other tab.

Older Model Instructions

Our older model for this demonstration is an E serial one speed. The procedure for this is basically the same, except it uses screws to hold the filter cover in place. To get to the screws, you'll demand to remove this cord wrap slice.

Insert your flat head screwdriver into the groove on the side of the vacuum where it meets the string wrap piece. Twist the screwdriver and the cord wrap will come up off.

Use your Phillips head screwdriver and remove the 4 screws – two at the tiptop and two at the bottom. Set these aside in a rubber place.

Now remove the filter cover.

This gives you access to the HEPA filter. When you're fix to install your new filter, you volition demand to orient it with the grill facing out and the tab in the slot at the lesser of the vacuum cleaner.

Identify the dorsum plate dorsum on.

Replace the screws.
